Praised the Lord, we were able to get in this terminal, and they let us to go on the ship this time. We brought in some home made cookies and two watermelon. The captain invited us to his cabin and we share the Gospel with him and the commissar. Both of them were very open and willing to receive the eternal life as a gift from God. (See pic. 8, captain is the first one from the right on the front row, commissar is the second one from the right on the next row). We sang the hymn ‘Flower in the wilderness’ to the seamen downstairs. They also wanted Jesus to be their friend and savior. (See pic. 9).

Indian Christians on board, third mate, one able seaman, and
two motormen. We were on the last ship a year before last
May. There were five Indian Christians on board, third mate,
second engineer, fifth engineer, one motorman and one able
seaman. Prayed with them and blessed the ships. (See pic. 1
& 2 for part of the crew on the fourth ship). I took four
Chinese to Wal Mart and Best Buy. One of them, the second
mate is a Christian. (second one from the right in pic. 2).

talk with the captain. He is a Buddhist but very open to the
Christianity. Watched the Jesus film with them and prayed

Thursday:
Ying Dau Lu and I went to Freeport, Texas to attend a mission
conference held by Port Ministries International. (See pic. 7).
Friday:
Ying Dau Lu and I went to the conference again. We met many
port chaplains from different states of the US. (See pic. 8 & 9).

Ireneo Pavis. He took the seminar of the Church on the Ocean
from the Philippines. Philip Vandercook in New Orleans
emailed me to contact Ireneo, so I came. This was amazing. We
were on the fourth ship last May, the fifth ship last Jan., the last
ship a year before last May. Prayed with them and blessed the
ships.
Someone from FBCC came and helped the ministry today.

we saw each other and called my full name. I remembered
his last name. He said to me that I baptized him on July the
ninth, 2004. He also met Port Chaplain Ian Dennis in
Melbourne, Australia. That was after the Manila Convention
by SCFS. Ian told me about the occasion all right. What a
small world. Prayed with them, and took the fourth engineer
to Best Buy.

My wife Nancy has been diagnosed to have breast cancer about six
weeks ago. She already has taken chemotherapy two times. There will
be another 22 times of chemo treatments, then the surgery and radiation.

Chinese; Filipino, and Ukrainian; Filipino, and Ukrainian. We
were on the last ship last Jan. There was one Christian on the
first ship, the chief cook. (See pic. 1 for part of the crew on the
first ship). Prayed with them and shared the story of Jesus with
them.
2 ships on Tuesday:
GOLDEN TOPSTAR, and CHANG HANG TAN SUO - Filipino,
Russian, and Chinese; All Chinese. We were on the last ship a year
before last Nov. Feb. (See pic. 2 for part of the crew). Prayed with
them and shared the Gospel with them. A few of them accepted the
plan of Salvation.

We were on the third ship last Sep., the last ship a year ago. There

helped the ministry today.

My wife Nancy has been diagnosed breast cancer a month ago. She is
taking chemotherapy for the following 24 weeks including this week, then
the surgery and radiation. Please pray for her treatment and health.

Christians on board, second mate, third engineer, two motor men, and

film with them. There were two Christians on the second ship, the
second mate, and one ordinary seaman. We had a short visit on it.

Frankel from WHCC, META group came and helped the ministry today.

1 ship on Sunday:
IKAN ALTAMIRA - Filipino, Polish, Ghanaian, and Chinese. We
were on this ship last Friday, six of the crew has been changed. I
took three seafarers to Houston Chinese Church this Am. They are
so friendly and lovely. (See pic. 1 for church pastor, YingDau Lu
and them). We went to China Town and Wal Mart, then came back
to the ship in Pm. What a wonderful day for Jesus.

An initial visit on the first ship. We were on the second ship last Jan.

theScriptures and Gospel materials.

- same as above; All Chinese; All Chinese. We were on the first ship
day before yesterday. The second engineer called me, and wanted me
to take him to Wal Mart to clear a business transaction. So we did.
(See pic. 3 for the crowd on the second ship). We shared the Gospel
with the commissar. He was really open and knowledgeable about
Christianity. He welcomed Jesus into his heart, but he still denied his
belief. We were on the last ship last Aug. (See pic. 4 for two of the
seamen on board). Prayed with them and blessed the ship.

PREMA ONE, and TESSA PG - All Filipino; Filipino, Indian, and

Jan., the third ship last Nov., and the last ship last month. There was
one Indian Christian on the second ship, the chief mate. There was

I took Brother Joy, the second mate, and Julius, the third engineer to
Fry and Best Buy for their merchandise exchange and repair. Then we
ate out in a Chinese restaurant. We had a wonderful fellowship
together.

was transporting from the ship to the hospital because of severe

Shared the Gospel with three seamen. The name of Jesus worked
as a dynamite. They wanted Jesus to be their best friend and Lord.

IKAN ACAPULCO, BBC NORTHSEA, and GLOBAL ACE - All
Filipino; Russian, Ukrainian, German, and Latvian; All Chinese. We
were on the first ship three weeks ago, the last ship last Jul. (See pic.
5 for the captain on the left and the chief mate on the right). Two
minutes before I arrived the ship, a ship chandler called me and told me
the captain is a Christian and he wanted to see a pastor and he wanted
to getbaptized if possible. I got on the ship, had met with the captain
and explained a little bit about baptism to him. He called out the chief
mate, the second mate and the third mate to his room and asked me to
preach to them. I briefly shared the Gospel to them and asked them
to received Jesus into their hearts. We simply did the salvation prayer
and they accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Then I
baptized the captain in front of his comrades. Praise the Lord.

morning. (See pic. 2 for all of them). We went to China Town
and Best Buy after lunch. Then we went back to the ship.

one Myanmar Christian on the first ship, a wiper. (See pic. 4
& 5 for some of the crew on the second ship). Shared the
Gospel with the second mate and an engine room cadet. The
second mate received, but the cadet declined. Blessed the
ships.
5 ships on Saturday:
STAR FRASER, BOW FERTILITY, IKAN ACAPULCO,
PULA, and CLIPPER LANCER - All Filipino; All Filipino;
All Filipino; All Croatian; All Russian. We were on the first
ship last Feb., the third ship a year before last Aug., the last
ship a year before last Jun. There was a church on the third
ship. They have Bible Study on board once or twice a week.
The leader is the second mate, his name is Sagith Joy S.
Alegarbes. Everybody call him Bro. Joy. He told me he
took the training "Church on the Ocean" from Martin Otto
in Manila. And he knows Victor, who picked me up at the
Manila Airport to attend the HIM (Harbor International
Ministries) Mission Conference three weeks ago. They are all
members of SCFS (Seamen's Christian Friend Society). I
gave them many copies of Scriptures. What a wonderful
and glorious gathering. (See pic. 6, the one on the far left is
Bro. Joy).

with them, and they all receptive. A short visit on the last ship.
Hope the ship will stay till Saturday evening.

STOLT SUN, XENA, LONDON TRADER, AMAZING, and
SAT NUNKI - Filipino, and Russian; Filipino, Croatian, and

All Chinese. We were on the first ship last Nov. A revisit on
the last ship. The ship may be sailing tonight, but we still hope
the Gospel team can come tomorrow on the ship. Prayed with
them and blessed them and they all receptive.
2 ships on Saturday:
VINASHIP DIAMOND, and AMAZING - All VietNamese;
All Turkish. Both ships were a revisit. Fifteen of us went to the
ships. We did personal evangelism to both. We sang Amazing
on the last ship. They wanted us to sing it again. (See pic. 6 for
our group). Blessed their crews. We gave them Scriptures and
Jesus DVDs. They were responsive.
Just like last week, Fort Bend Community Church sent more
(twelve) people, Wenwu He, Yi Zhang, Xiang Ouyang, Jenny
Ye, Esmond Li, Cao Zhao, Shawn Tan, Chun Li, Tony
Yeung, Deming Mao, Ke Wang, and one anonymity to help this
ministry. Yingdau Lu from Houston Chinese Church Payton
Huang from WHCC also came and helped the visitation today.

The dock reports will be stopped for two weeks, because Nancy
and I, Sandy and Yingdau Lu are going to Manila for the World
Seafarers Mission Conference. This report will resume after March
29.

me to pray for him and his family on the last ship. All receptive.

Bulgarian, and one Chinese. There were two Indian Christians
on the first ship, a motorman, and a pump man. (See pic. 8 for

IKAN ATAMIRA - Filipino, Chinese, Myanmar, and Ghanaian.
This time was a revisit. Ten of us were singing and witnessing
to the Chinese crew. We also did the personal evangelism to
four individuals including a Filipino electrician. (See pic. 10, the
one on the left is the chef cook). (See pic. 11, the one on the
right is an cadet). Prayed with them and blessed their families.
The response was positive.
This month is the Mission Month for Fort Bend Community
Church. Jason Chow, Sulisa Lo, Kun Liu, Powei Feng, Tianmu
Zang, Gordon Ruan, Chaoran Yang, and one anonymity from
FBCC. Some of them are students from Rice Univ. And
Yingdau Lu from Houston Chinese Church came and helped

came to Houston. He said he knew me. I said, how come? He
went, because other people told him so. I prayed with him with
the salvation prayer and thanked God brought him to me. He

Indian. We were on the second ship last Aug. There were four
Christians on board, second engineer, four engineer, bosun, and

blessed their families.

ATLANTIC MIGHT - Filipino, and Chinese. This was a revisit.
I brought some current Chinese Christian News Paper to them.
They were so precious of it. Took three seamen, chief engineer,
one able seaman, and an oiler to Fort Bend Community church.
We had Morning Worship, Sunday School, and lunch there.
Then we went to China Town and back to the ship. (See pic. 1)
8 ships on Monday:
CLIPPER TRINDAD, LYNX, IVER EXPERT, and MASCOT
- All Filipino; Filipino, and Russian; Filipino, and Dutch; Filipino,
Polish, and Ukrainian. We were on the first ship last Jul. We
visited the second ship last month, and the last ship last Apr.
Prayed with them and blessed the crew. After I finished my
prayer on the second ship, I saw tears coming down from the
seaman's cheeks. He said "Thank you for your prayer". I felt
God is inside of me.
CLIPPER OCEANICA, HAKUFU, STELLENBOSCH, and
BLUE SPIRIT - All Indian; All Myanmar; Myanmar and Polish;
Russian, and Ukrainian. We were on the first ship last month.
There were four Christians on board, two fitter, one able
seaman, and third engineer. (See pic. 2 for some of the crew).
Prayed with them and blessed the ships. We visited the third
ship last Jul., the last ship just a month ago. Receptive.

All Chinese. We were on the first ship last May, the second ship
two days ago. A revisit with different persons this time. They
changed eight seamen, and we changed one and added another

for the chief engineer on the right). Prayed with them and
blessed the ship. There were three Christians on the first ship,
third engineer, fourth engineer, and second officer.

on board already not too long ago. We just left some Christian

were on the first ship last Oct. (See pic. 11 for some of the

crew). We visited the second ship last Aug. A revisited on the

fourth ship and the fifth ship. There was one Christian on the

last ship, the third mate. (See pic. 12, the second from the right

is the third mate). I took the fourth engineer to Best Buy.
